I am a member of the IAIM (International Association of Infant Massage). The IAIM massage course draws on both Indian and Swedish massage traditions as well as incorporating principles from reflexology and yoga.

Massaging your baby deepens the bond between you both. It provides a wonderful opportunity for expressing your love whilst also meeting the high need for touch that is essential of the healthy development of all babies. A baby who is touched and massaged in a loving way will feel respected and valued and therefore develop a stronger sense of their own identity and self worth. For parents, it can help with a better understanding of their baby and a greater confidence in meeting their baby’s needs.

Find out more about baby massage on the IAIM website.

Classes are informal, relaxed and fun. They are run from a garden studio in Forest Hill. Each class lasts for 90 minutes, including some time for informal chat and refreshments. There are five classes in a course.
